Kingston Technology has launched a new DataTraveler USB Flash drive, called DT 101, in the Indian market.

The company provides a swivel cap so that the user, who forgets to get the cap after removing, need not worry about losing it. It also provides an opportunity to select your favorite color amongst the three color option, namely dark red, purple and navy blue.

You can store and transfer large files from the digital device to another without passwords or built-in software programs. It is an easy-to-use and perfect device for consumers who are on constant run to transport or store the data wherever they travel in the world.

“The DataTraveler 101’s new design reduces the drive’s overall size which allows for easy and unobtrusive transport in a pocket or attached to a keychain,” said Nitin Malhotra, Country Manager, India, Kingston Technology, “With 1 and 2GB capacities available, the DT 101 is the perfect solution for storing image files and documents.”

The stylish USB drive also supports high-speed USB 2.0 specifications that enable the product to offer fast and convenient data transfer. Available in 1GB and 2GB storage capacity, the DataTraveler 101 comes with a fully guaranteed five-year warranty.

The Kingston DT 101 is currently available through Avnet India, HCL, Ingram Micro, Kobian Electronics and Transtek Infoways.

If it says usb has malfunctioned right click on my computer and select manage, go to device manager and search for “kingston DT 101 II USB device” and right click on htat and uninstall it, then do that for the entry that says USB mass storage device that it was attached to, then click the “scan hardware changes” button at top.

    this worked for me.
