Yet another Kickstarter project that requires fans’ support to enter mass production are the CordCruncher headphones, suitable for use in the gym, while playing golf, boating or during any other outdoor activity. The accessory will see the light of the day if it manages to collect $20,000 before April 20.
The headphones in question are fitted with an elastic-sleeve cord, allowing users to determine the length they wish to have. It can be adjusted from a length of 16 inches to up to 3.5 feet, and the elimination of extra cord in turn, eliminates the hassles of untangling these cables. This is basically what makes the audio gear suitable to be carried on outdoor activities, to the gym or for those yoga sessions and more.
“The CordCruncher Headphone literally wraps up the music experience for those who are tired of fussing over jumbled and knotted ear-bud cords. The CordCruncher can be easily crunched after use for hassle-free storage in a gym bag, or stylishly worn as a bracelet or necklace between uses. The CordCruncher headphone is practical and fun,†stated Jay Johnson, president at CordCruncher.
The elastic-sleeve technology utilized in this audio accessory has been manufactured with the help of a hypo-allergenic material that is 99.9 percent protein-free, according to the designers. It comes in shades of rocker red, pearl blue and iGizmo white. The device is also said to be capable of rendering an improved acoustic experience coupled with enhanced bass and treble via its earbuds.
The CordCruncher priced at $20 (approx. Rs. 1,025), is up for pre-order through the Kickstarter website. It has collected funds amounting to $3,505 so far.
