Urbanears 2011 Fall/Winter collection of headphones makes a vivid splash

Urbanears 2011 Fall/Winter Collection

The Urbanears 2011 Fall/Winter collection of headphones is the latest to emerge from the Scandinavian brand. Keeping to their regular tradition of launching two headset ranges each year according to season, this collection arrives far after the Spring/Summer release.

This time around, Urbanears has added three vibrant colors to the palette. These shades cover raspberry, mustard and indigo. The enthusiasm of the color-happy folks behind painting those headphones need not be witnessed in order to be appreciated.

That’s because we’ve always been getting nothing less than spirited hues from the brand. Simply take the Tanto multi-colored offering, Bagis or Plattan Plus as evidence of that. The indigo option in the Fall/Winter assortment is meant to remind people of a crisp new pair of jeans that is just begging to be worn.

The delicious raspberry alternative is berry-pink with ever so slight hints of blue and purple. It’s supposed to be reminiscent of late-summer picnics, cheeks reacting to excess of time spent out in the cold and popsicles.

Lastly, Urbanears is making it clear that the mustard flavor is not the sort of bright yellow tint hotdog lovers across North America will be familiar with. Oh no, it’s not. The headset looks like it’s been dipped in the comparatively darker toned mustard seen in Europe instead.

The new colors appear to be splashed across all products under the Plattan, Bagis, Medis and Tanto label. So customers will be paying anything upwards from $30 (approx. Rs. 1,400) for members tagged as part of the Urbanears 2011 Fall/Winter collection of headphones.
