The Archos 35 home connect, a portable Android based web radio claims to be the ‘perfect device’ to stream radio as well as music, anywhere at home. In addition to delivering good quality sound, this compact Wi-Fi enabled audio gear also acts as an alarm clock.

The device is powered by the Android Froyo platform, while it operates with the 1 GHz Omap 3630 and OpenGL ES 2.0 graphic accelerator. It boasts of an onboard memory of about 4GB, which can be increased through the expansion slot that supports microSD card of capacities up to 16GB. It is fitted with a 3.5-inch TFT LCD touchscreen that allows customization by means of a number of applications and widgets.
