Agios Technology has come up with its latest solution which allows users to listen to their favorite music while on the go. This Taiwanese company presents Podio, a portable player cum speaker which is tiny enough to fit in the users’ pocket or palm.

The company claims that customers should not be deceived by the size as it produces an excellent full and natural sound. The system consists of a proprietary MicroAmp and full range driver. These features are wrapped up in a chic-looking cylindrical metal micro speaker measuring a mere 88mm long.

The Podio incorporates all the attributes of a mini MP3 player and give users the option to hear the music aloud through the speaker or couple it with earphones. The earphone mode is ideal whilst hiking, jogging or walking. The speaker emits good sound quality letting consumers hear all their music clearly may it be at a gathering or in the customers own room.

This trendy device weighs just 139gms and hence is portable in nature. This allows users to groove to the move anytime, anywhere. Cyclists now have a new companion in the Podio. The device can be firmly secured onto the handlebar of the cycle and keep the cyclist entertained while on the go.

The portable player sports a large memory capacity of 2GB where music can be stored in both MP3 and Windows WMA formats. It can be connected to the computer via a USB port. When in speaker mode, the Podio can play for 9-20 hours and in earphone mode up to 60 hours. It also features a rechargeable lithium battery.

The price and availability of the Podio portable music player cum speakers from Agios is still under wraps.
