Apple has announced that they have launched iPod nano in a new vibrant color – Pink. It will now be available in an 8GB version.
This prominent music player sports a 2-inch display, an enhanced user interface to display album artwork and photos, Cover Flow to scroll through the music album cover artwork by Click Wheel. Consumers can watch brand new iTunes Movie Rentals or TV shows and music videos purchased from the iTunes Store.
“Customers are going to love the gorgeous new pink iPod nano,” maintained Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPod Product Marketing. “The pink iPod nano is perfect for people who want a great new color this spring, or who are searching for a special Valentine’s Day gift.”
Users are also allowed to purchase music, video and games from the iTunes Store or via the latest iTunes Movie Rentals available. iPod nano is compatible with Windows or Mac. Besides, it also comes with earbud headphones, a USB to 30-pin cable and a Universal Dock Connector. To get internet access and a broadband connection, extra fees are applied.
Encased in an all-metal design, the iPod nano comes with anodized aluminum and polished stainless steel. It is available in various different colors such as silver, black, blue, green and a red special edition. It delivers up to 24 hours of audio playback or five hours of video playback on a single charge.
Priced at $199 (approx. Rs. 8,000), the new pink 8GB iPod nano is available worldwide immediately.
