MOTOROKR T505 In-Car Speakerphone and Music System – Motorola’s First ROKR for Car

MOTOROKR T505 In-Car system Motorola has introduced MOTOROKR T505, a Bluetooth in-car speakerphone and digital FM transmitter packed into one device. The company boasts that this is the first road-ready, music oriented ROKR accessory and the newest addition to its in-car solution.

Users can connect a compatible Bluetooth-enabled phone, including MOTORAZR or MOTOROKR Z6 or an MP3 player, to the car sound system and experience hands-free calling along with their music in the extraordinary stereo sound.

This portable device incorporates the company’s easy-pair technology and can be easily clipped into the car’s visor. Thus, no wires or installation is required. It also features StationFinder, a breakthrough technology to track the best FM connection on the car radio.

The T505 automatically mutes the music when there is an incoming call and audibly alerts the Caller-ID for the drivers to keep their eyes on the road. It also comes equipped with Cutting-edge echo and noise reduction technology, a built-in microphone and 2-watt speaker that enables the drivers to enjoy outstanding sound and zero static throughout their ride.

“Today’s drivers demand convenience and connectivity without missing a beat to what’s important to them — their calls and their music. We’re excited to introduce a portable, music-optimized ROKR to the car to enhance the mobile experience while consumers are on the road,” said Jason Few, corporate vice president, Motorola, Inc.

When the drive is over, the MOTOROKR T505 can be easily removed and even hooked to another car. It is expected to deliver up to 20 hours of non-stop calling.

Motorola’s MOTOROKR T505 Bluetooth in-car speakers and music system is slated to be on shelf by the early 2008.
