Logitech has unveiled the Logitech Audio Station Express portable speakers for the iPod in India. The Logitech Speakers are compatible to all iPods having a dock connector on the base.
The Logitech Speakers offer dynamic, full-range sound quality with two 2.5-inch Max-X high-excursion drivers and a bass port. In addition to this, Logitech Audio Station Express delivers excellent sound quality and durability.
The Logitech Audio Station System comprises of an iPod docking station with speakers, a protective case, AC Adapter and wireless remote, which makes the system ideal for home entertainment.
The Logitech Audio Station Express features auxiliary (3.5 mm) input that allows users to use the speaker system with early iPod models as well as with other audio devices, including CD, MP3 and portable DVD players. Not only audio but users can also watch videos, images and movies stored in iPod on television with the help of video output jack.
On the occasion of the launch Moninder Jain, Director, South Asia, Logitech said, “Our research has shown us unambiguously what people value in portable iPod speakers: durability and flexibility.” He further added “The Audio Station Express delivers directly on consumer desires, enabling people to play and share their music, around the home on AC power or outside on batteries, with a design that’s durable enough to withstand a variety of environments.”
Coming back to the speaker’s features, the Logitech Audio Station Express works on both, AC power, ideal for home use and AA batteries for outdoor use. The docked iPod is also recharged when speakers are powered by AC adaptor.
The Logitech Audio Station Express is made available in the Indian market through Rashi Peripherals and Neoteric Informatique. The price of the Logitech Audio Station Express is Rs. 7,995.
