With the new G45-AV680 laptop and U-103 Player in 24 colors, Toshiba also launched the U-series Gigabeat DAP in US. The new MP3 player incorporates direct-to-MP3 player music ripping technology, FM tuner and radio recorder.

The new U-series new layer features:

  • Built-in Rechargeable Li-ion Battery: Up to 20 hours of audio playback
  • 2GB NAND flash memory
  • Color panel 1.1-inch diagonal OLED
  • FM Tuner: 76-108MHz FM frequency band, 10 stations/presets, Auto scan/manual scan
  • Equalizer: 6 modes with flat
  • Dimensions: 3.02″ x 1.43″ x .45″
  • Weight: 1.48 oz

    • The Gigabeat U-Series’ Li-ion battery life is 20 hours of continuous playback and takes around two hours to charge a fully drained battery. Plus, the battery can be charged via an AC adapter as well as through a USB.

    Toshiba is shipping Gigabyte U series players at the price of $99 (around Rs. 3,980)
