Tivoli’s NetWorks Table Radio and NetWorksGo – the tabletop internet radio Announced

Tivoli Tabletop Radio Tivoli Audio, the iconic Model One tabletop radio maker, has planned to launch its two new tabletop radios, the NetWorks Table Radio and NetWorksGo.

The product comes with conventional FM radio, Internet streaming and even a remote control. The user can tune in to MP3, WMA, Real or window media radio channel by Wi-Fi (for remote locations) or Ethernet connection. The owner can also store digital audio files from PC through USB and line-in connectors.

The NetWorks Table Radio is based on SongBook and the NetWorksGo is based on Model One, the company’s analog. A tabletop version, the NetWorks works only on wall outlet power, whereas the travel radio, NetWorksGo offers spaces for 6 rechargeable C batteries.

Tom DeVesto, President of Tivoli Audio said that the models also provide automatic firmware upgrades. The owner needs to touch a button to download and install new software, without computer usage. If the user wants some other station which is not preset onto the device, then they need to send Tivoli an e-mail for the same and get compatible station easily.

Till the company does not reveal the release dates and price of both the models, the NetWorks Table Radio and NetWorksGo might alter some features or add few to the list. However, Tivoli intends to ship both the radios sometime during fall 07.
