FCC has given green signal to the Archos 605 Portable Media player, the WiFi enabled PMP. This device is one of the company’s fifth generations PMP.
The advanced media player delivers a high-resolution display and integrated TV program guide. At 4.3-inch screen, the gadget offers 800×480 pixels resolution. It’s 30GB of capacity stores up to 40 movies or 15,000 songs, and SD card slot (up to 16GB cards) for additional memory. The storage memory option ranges from 4GB to 30GB.
The user can also purchase movies/TV shows and music by Content Portal. It can download video content directly from the internet. The player uses docking station, which is sold separately for easily coping content directly from TV, Sky Box, PVR, PC or Wi-Fi.
The pricing and availability is yet to be disclosed.
