Epson K-series monochrome inkjet printer enters India

Epson K300

Combining high performance with low cost printing, the Epson K-series monochrome inkjet printers for India is meant for users who require peripherals to print black and white pages. The K300 all-in-one succeeds K100 and K200 from the company and comes with an automatic document feeder.

The K-series printers claim to deliver printing speed and text quality of a laser printer, while keeping the cost per page as low as 0.60 paise. Their built-in duplexer prints on both sides and can achieve an ISO speed of about 16 pages per minute in the default mode. Also, it prints at a speed of 37 pages per minute in the draft mode.

Epson K200

All K-series printers utilize the Epson DuraBrite Ultra black pigment ink for sharp text as well as smudge, fade and water resistant output. The two Epson 137 ink cartridges can print up to 200 pages in all. Besides paper, the peripherals can print on a range of other media including cardboard, thick craft paper and more. These Ethernet enabled printers come with Micro Peizo print head to conserve up to 70 percent energy.

The variable sized Droplet technology facilitates printing at resolution of 1400 x 720 pixels. The K200 variant is fitted with a 150 sheet paper tray, while the K100 and K300 are equipped with 250 sheet paper tray each. The K200 and K300 devices also feature 1200 x 2400 dpi A4 flatbed scanners in addition to 360 x 360 dpi copy capability.

The Epson K-series monochrome inkjet printer price and availability details have been disclosed. They will hit store shelves this month and the prices of K100, K200 and K300 are Rs. 7,499, Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 11,599, respectively.
