A notebook companion meant for professionals constantly on the move, the portable Acer C120 LED pico projector serves as a plug and play device to display images. The lightweight device connects to PC systems via USB, while the LED lamp helps switching it on instantly.
The projector delivers images in native WVGA 854 x 480p resolutions with a 16:9 aspect ratio and is capable of rendering visuals in up to WXGA 1280 x 800p resolutions with an aspect ratio of 16:10. Its USB 3.0 port ensures faster data transfer speeds and allows charging the device when connected to PC systems. Thus, it eliminates the need to carry a separate AC adapter.

When powered via USB, the pocket-friendly gadget offers a brightness of 75 ANSI lumens, whereas when tethered to an AC power source, users can view photos in up to 100 ANSI lumens brightness. The crisp image reproduction can be attributed to a high contrast ratio of 1000:1, while the Acer ColorSafe technology and enhanced color saturation work towards improving the picture quality.
The pico projector measuring 4.72 x 3.23 x 1 inches, is extremely portable as it tips the scale at around 6.34 ounces. Its projection range is anywhere between 15.75 inches and 12.14 feet. Besides a long battery life, the device also claims to have an LED life of about 20,000 hours.
The Acer C120 LED pico projector priced at $259 (approx. Rs. 13,250), is now available in the US with a one year warranty.
