Acer C110 Portable Projector

At a press briefing held in Mumbai, India today, Acer released its two new portable projectors namely, C110 and K330. These projectors have been specially built for business presentations and multimedia digital entertainment.

Possessing a 1000:1 contrast along with WVGA (854×480) resolution and native 16:9 format, the lightweight C110 pico-projector promises to deliver immense clarity, vibrant projections and cutting-edge image quality. It works with a single USB cable and eliminates the need for power adapter and also messiness of wires.

S Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India explained, “People today are always on the move. Gone are the days when you can expect to conduct your business in the comfort of your offices. The new series of projectors from Acer is the perfect answer to your collaborative needs on the move. We believe there is immense potential for these pocket magicians in the area of business presentations and multimedia digital entertainment.”

The C110 employs Acer’s SmartFormat technology which provides instant sync with wide-format displays sans resolution adjustments from the notebook. It equips features such as a boot time of 15 seconds, a powerful yet eco-efficient LED lamp and the ColorSafe and DLP picture technology. The projector is quite portable as it is accompanied by an optional 25-inch foldable wrinkle free screen which is said to deliver twice the reflectivity compared to other traditional projector screens.

Featuring a bright 500 lumens lamp that helps in delivering HD quality images with enhanced color saturation, the LED K330 reportedly offers a power-packed performance even though its size is as small as a magazine. It possesses WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution with a 4,000:1 contrast ratio. This device incorporates various multimedia features which let users project standard office (Power point, Excel, Word, & PDF) and multimedia files (audio, video and photo) from an USB drive or SD card connected to it.

While the Acer C110 is priced at Rs.15, 000, the K330 reads a price tag of Rs. 54,000. Both projectors will soon be available at authorized retailers across India.
