Asus has revealed its latest X79 lineup of motherboards, each of which is incorporated with the new Intel X79 Express Chipset featuring support for the 2nd generation Core i7 processor family for the LGA 2011 socket. The range consists of the P9X79 Series, the ROG Rampage IV Extreme and Rampage IV Formula and the TUF Sabertooth X79.

The motherboards in this series are integrated with the company’s Dual Intelligent Processors 3 technology featuring the new DIGI+ Power Control that offers three digital voltage controllers, one onboard, the other for the CPU and two for DRAM. All of them come with multi-GPU support, PCIe 3.0 and up to 64GB quad-channel DDR3.

The Asus X79 motherboard series comprises the P9X79, P9X79 Pro and P9X79 Deluxe. They possess new memory voltage modulation options with performance boosting through VCCSA load line calibration. The DRAM current capability is said to be almost 30% higher, resulting in easy overclocking of the memory. Sporting 8-DIMM designs, the newly launched devices are capable of supporting up to 64GB of quad-channel memory.

Incorporated with support for 4-way Nvidia SLI and AMD CrossFireX in PCI Express 3.0, the Rampage IV Extreme packs in various overclocking features. It comes with the ROG X-Socket that enables easy transition from LGA 1366 to LGA 2011.

The TUF Sabertooth X79 motherboard is embedded with 12 sensors which can be individually monitored by users. The computer peripheral automatically calculates the ideal fan speeds as per the varied parameters that users choose which keep the components cooler and make them last longer.

The prices of the motherboards in the Asus X79 motherboard series range from Rs. 18,400 to Rs. 28,650 and all of them are accompanied by a three year warranty.
