Logitech Wireless Touchpad

Logitech has created a Wireless Touchpad for PCs running on the Windows 7 operating system. The popularity of touchpads in the present day can be gauged from the fact the HP TouchPad is the top selling device at Amazon.

The Logitech Wireless Touchpad measures 5-inch at the sides and is covered with two shades of black on its front while the back poses in striking white. For various functions, the touchpad enables the use of almost all fingers. With one finger, it controls the cursor and click while two fingers let users scroll through the screen. The use of three fingers allows swiping though albums, etc. or even page up and page down functions. Four fingers enable quick switching between applications.

“Touchpads have opened up a whole new way of interacting with the digital world. Beyond just pointing and clicking, we now can use a range of gestures to take us more quickly and easily through the tasks at hand. Whether surfing the web or navigating lengthy documents, scrolling, and swiping have become just as useful as pointing and clicking,” wrote Chris Labrutto, senior global product manager, wrote on the Logitech blog.

Connected with the Logitech unifying receiver, this touchpad operates within a range of 25 meters. Also, the unifying receiver can host as much as 5 wireless accessories, including keyboards, number pads, etc. the touchpad is integrated with AA batteries which keep it running for up to 4 months. When the device is on, the LED indicator on the touchpad indicates if the battery life is low.
