It’s long before we moved past the conventional headsets that did nothing more than offering good audio clarity. Motorola’s latest baby namely the Oasis Bluetooth headset keeping comfort high up on its list only has us nodding our heads in agreement. The headset is all set to mark its presence at AT&T stores nationwide next month. The headset is fashioned to be a good performer too all along.

Its distinct behind-the-ear fabrication shows off a comfortable, stable feel while the incorporated dual mics proffer enhanced noise cancellation. Based on consumer feedback, the company employed ear molds to digitally develop approximately 15,000 ear measurements to craft this headset.

“We designed Oasis with a customizable fit, so it is comfortable enough for consumers to wear all day, every day,” commented Wayne White, corporate vice president, Companion Products, Motorola Mobility. “Motorola recognizes that no two ears are alike, so our engineers and designers, after extensive trial and testing, created a headset that not only looks and sounds good but also feels great.”

Motorola also says to have paid painstaking attention to all aspects of the ear inside out when designing it. Adopting a most comfortable fabrication, the behind-the-ear wearing style of the Oasis is revealed to be as good as not wearing a headset at all. While users will be free to tweak the boom, they also get to pick from three cushy ear gels as per their preference.

What’s more, the unique wearing style of the headset not only masks it but also counter balances the weight, making it the lightest accessory of its kind. The expanded boom features dual-mics that allow superior noise cancellation and are capable of holding down wind up to 12mph. With nearly every improved attribute that could feature in a good Bluetooth headset, Motorola couldn’t have missed out on MultiPoint technology, could they?

The company also keeps in mind consumers’ pleas for placement of buttons that are used more often in handy locations. The answer/end call knob has been conveniently fashioned and infused in a place that doesn’t come in the way of the comfortable fit. It’s revealed to be the same for the committed mute button. Voice prompts should automatically steer users through pairing the headset.

Starting October 3, the Oasis Bluetooth headset is slated to hit AT&T stores and online in the U.S. for $79.99.
