It is undeniably true that Google’s Nexus One smartphone was showered by an inordinate amount of attention during the months surrounding its release. Those who have laid their hands on the handset may want read up on this bit of news. Google has the Nexus One Desktop Dock for charging the phone up on sale at their official online store.
Apart from serving as a charging dock for the handset, this device launches a Clock app automatically when the phone is dropped it. This app enables users to check the time and weather, play music, set and clear alarms, watch a slideshow of photos, play music.
The desktop dock is sold with a charger and 3.5mm-to-RCA audio cable for allowing dock to stereo connection. The latter allows owners to enjoy music stored on their Nexus One handsets through their stereo systems. Its display screen may also be dimmed for night time use.
Google’s Nexus One Desktop Dock can be purchased as a separate accessory or with the Nexus One at their online store. It comes with a $45 price tag attached to it.
