Samsung intros HW-C450, HW-C451 Sound Bars

Samsung Logo Samsung has declared the pricing and availability of two new sound bars namely the HW-C450 and the HW-C451. The sound bars claim to bring in a new level of high-quality audio performance.

Samsung’s 2010 lineup features unique, open speakers which operate without grill while prism Touch of Color (ToC) design ensures a smooth, slim and minimalist look. The 280W total power output and a wireless subwoofer enable the HW-C450 and the HW-C451 with a virtual surround sound effect and also eliminate the requirement for speakers throughout the room.

“With the new HW-C450 and HW-C451, Samsung has put high-class audio quality in an ultra-modern, sleek, compact form factor designed to fit any home,” said John Revie, senior vice president of Home Entertainment for Samsung Electronics America. “In 2010, we really focused on pushing the limits with design without sacrificing audio quality. This sets a new quality bar for those seeking a sound system that offers bold quality with minimal space consumption.”

Crafted to complement the design of any room, the new sound bars adorn alluring new prism ToC design. The HW-C450 sporting in black and HW-C451 in silver, they can be effortlessly mounted to any wall and connected to the TV with a single optical cable.

Samsung’s new HW-C450 and HW-C451 are priced at $349.99 (approx Rs. 15,910) each while HT-WDC10 (Wireless dock for iPod/iPhone) carries a price tag of $149.99 (approx Rs. 6,818). The HW-C450 will be made available this month while HW-C451 and HT-WDC10 in May.
