Zagg releases invisibleShield for Apple iPad

Zagg invisibleShield For iPad

After MusicSkins’ line of skins for the iPad that we reported about a hearbeat ago, Zagg has started shipping their invisibleShield protective films for Apple’s iPad. This seems to be just the beginning of a long list of accessories that will be launched to spoil iPad users for choice.

Zagg’s invisibleShield is touted to be a virtually invisible and durable military-grade film for safeguarding gadgets from scratches and bumps. It is fingerprint-resistant and provides a better grip over the iPad’s sleek, smooth surfaces. This film protects the display without affecting the tablet’s touchscreen capabilities in any manner. The company had announced plans to start shipping their film on the same day as the iPad launch.

“The invisibleShield is one of the very first accessories created for the iPad. It is a perfect complement to Apple products, in part because they let our customers show off the amazing design of Apple’s electronics. We believe Zagg’s line of products will be very popular with iPad owners, including the customizable ZAGGskins, which allow gadget lovers to personalize and protect their device at the same time,” cited Derek Smith, vice president of Sales, Zagg.

Zagg is selling the full body invisibleShield for iPad through their official website at $39.99 (approx. Rs.1,790), while the front and back can be purchased separately for $29.99 (approx. Rs.1,340), apiece.
