Analog Devices intros ADA4898-2 dual-channel op amp

Analog Devices Logo

Analog Devices puts to fore the dual version of its popular ADA4898-1 operational amplifier in the form of the ADA4898-2. Similar to the ADA4898-1, the ADA4898-2 dual-channel, high-speed op amp brings to designers a fusion of low distortion, ultra-low noise and high speed effective for applications that need high precision signal processing.

The dual channel version helps reduce the size of the packaging and also maintains performance. It has been designed to work with Analog Devices’ precision data converters such as 18-bit, differential programmable input PulSAR ADCs (analog-to-digital converters), the AD7631 and AD7634.

Furthermore, the ADA4898-2 is a unity-gain-stable op amp that offers engineers ultra-low broadband noise, 1/f noise of 1.2 nV/rt Hz at 10 Hz, low distortion (–110 dBc at 500 kHz), and dc precision for optimized performance of ADCs.

The ADA4898-2 works well with16-bit and 18-bit systems and features elevated speed and slew rate. It also supports a broader range of voltage supply, ±5 V to ±15 V. Each per thousand prices of ADA4898-1 and ADA4898-2 is $1.89 and $3.21 respectively.
