Kodak i730 and i750 Scanners Announced for Business Professionals

Kodak Logo Following the success of the Kodak i780 Scanner for mid-to-high volume production, Kodak launches two new digital scanners from its i700 series, namely the i730 and the i750.

Designed for business purposes, both document scanners make use of the next generation document capture technology that enhance the access to information by extracting specific content for immediate use. Based on Kodak’s advanced image processing features, both scanners have the capability to rapidly scan the document with image quality of 300 dots per inch (dpi) at 200 dpi speeds. The i730 delivers throughput speeds of 90 pages per minute (ppm), whereas the i750 offers 115 ppm of throughput speeds.

Equipped with Kodak’s Perfect Page Imaging Technology, the i700 series of scanners automatically corrects image correction for pristine accuracy and quality of digital images. The devices also use optical character recognition (OCR) and other intelligent detection features to significantly cut down on document processing time and costs and at the same time maintain the superior level of performance.

Other features of the i700 scanners include duplex scanning, automatic page orientation based on content, auto image deskew, image cropping, colour dropout and blank page deletion.

Both scanners from Kodak also come with an automated feeding technology that minimizes manual document sorting to easily capture mixed batches of documents, photos and tear sheets and allow processing, archiving and sharing.

Apart from that, the i730 and i750 scanners also sport a Triple Ultrasonic multi feed detection function to reduce potential scanning errors and workflow logjams for a reliable and uninterrupted workflow.

The Kodak i730 and i750 document scanners come for a starting price of €26,990 (approx. Rs. 1,695,290). Kodak will display these newly launched scanning devices at CeBIT in Hanover, Germany from March 3-8, 2009.
