Cosair has introduced its Professional Series HX850W and HX750W modular Power Supply Units. HX850W and HX750W PSUs deploy superior quality DC-to-DC circuitry.

These units are 80 Plus Silver certified and about 90 percent energy-efficient. This ensures minimal generation of heat and less wastage of energy.

The PSU bundles up noiseless, temperature controlled 14mm cooling fan. This fan utilizes the modified fan-speed curve that does not spin up until the PSU attains 70 percent rated load. Hence, users can enjoy smooth noiseless functioning of the PC even while they undertake various intensive tasks.

Both the PSUs feature single +12V rails. Therefore, they are reliable and stable in stressful conditions with full rated power output at an ambient temperature of 50°C and deliver up to 99 percent of its total wattage (840W).

HX850W and HX750W PSUs feature 150mm(W) x 86mm(H) x 180mm(L) dimensions, auto switching circuitry for universal AC input from 90-264V, Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) with PF value of 0.99 and 105°C solid state capacitors.

They support multi-GPU and TX12V 2.3 and EPS12V 2.91 standards. These Corsair PSUs offer component safety with Over Current/Voltage/Power Protection, Under Voltage Protection and Short Circuit Protection features. In addition to this, the PSUs flaunt unique cabling configuration which minimizes air-friction and provide greater airflow via the computer chassis. This is made possible by using low-profile, modular cables.

Backed by a seven year warranty, the Corsair Professional Series HX850W and HX750W PSUs are available through retailers all over the world. The company also offers tech support express helpdesk. However, the pricing is not yet announced.
