Logitech has released its latest keyboard, named Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave, in the Indian market. The peripherals are designed to offer comfort with its new and innovative wave key-frame design, to Mac and other PC users.
It features a U-shaped constant curve and a cushioned, contoured palm rest that ensures natural comfort to the hands and fingers while typing. The cordless keyboard also comes with a cordless laser mouse. Both, the keyboard and the mouse feature a battery indicator light to alert people when the battery power is low. The ambidextrous-capable laser mouse offers pixel-precise laser tracking and a comfortable, soft rubber grip.
Logitech boasts that keys have been designed to give optimum easy-to-operate experience, allowing users to rest their hands and cradle their fingers. To enhance the productivity, the desktop wave carries a 5-degree curve, padded and soft upholstery capabilities.
With the company’s software installed, hot keys can be mapped to launch folders, Web pages, or applications that include photo galleries and music applications. It bundles shortcut keys for Windows Vista users, offering Flip 3D as well as Windows Sidebar and gadgets. Moreover, new Vista gadgets like a status indicator for caps lock, num lock and scroll lock; a typing-speed indicator and an error-rate tracker that calculates the number of times the user hits the backspace key are also included.
For Mac users, the default assignment for the Media Center hot key is Front Row.
Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave is priced at INR 4995/- and comes with three years warranty. It is available in the country through Rashi Peripherals.
My keyboard suddenly skips letters frequently. changed batteries to no avail? it is the wave wireless. Any suggestions?
