Epson has announced the availability of its latest A4 photo scanner, dubbed Perfection V300, in the Indian market.
Boasting to work as a document scanner and a film scanner, the latest peripheral delvers nearly 4800dpi high optical resolution and 48-bit color depth to easily convert the films into new photos.
Replacing the Epson Perfection V200 Photo scanner, the Perfection V300 comes bundled with the company’s ReadyScan LED Technology to environmentally-friendly, less heat and mercury-free rapid scanning.
It sports four customizable one-touch buttons such as Copy, Start, Scan-to-Email, and Scan-to-PDF functions; an easy-to-use film holder to scan six frames of standard 35mm filmstrip or four frames of 35mm mounted slides in concurrence; and an easy-to-use Scan v3.5 photo and document edition software with Text Enhancement feature that removes unwanted shadows on the documents.
The inclusion of the high compression PDF saving option helps the Perfection V300 scanner to let users to save the scanned documents in their smallest size.
Besides, the Perfection V300 also comes with the Colour Restoration technology to restore faded photographs to their original colors seamlessly, the Dust Removal Tools feature that automatically detects and eliminates dust specks and scratches from the photograph.
The Backlight Correction function is also included in the Epson Perfection V300 photo scanner to scrutinize the image histogram and recognize any backlight conditions in the photograph. This feature comes with the capability to adjust the brightness, sharpness and color balance of each image.
Users can effectively digitalize documents and manage files through a set of software programs. It is now easy to convert a scanned document containing simplified English and Chinese languages into editable text format by using the Newsoft MaxReader 4.5 Lt Optical Character Recognition software. With the help of the ArcSoft MediaImpression, the scanner can edit, enhance and add creative effects to their photos.
Priced at Rs. 7,999, the Epson Perfection V300 Photo scanner is slated to be available in India by this month.
