Samsung India today launched nine models of printers. The new range includes two mono laser printer models, ML-4050N and ML-4551NDR, four multifunction printers SCX-5530FN, SCX-6122 FN, SCX-6322 DN and SCX-6345 N and three color laser printers CLP-300 N, CLX-2160 and CLX-2160N.
Samsung says that the CLX 2160 is the lightest printer that the company has. This printer is nearly half the size of other traditional laser printers. Besides, it includes a unique circular toner, which is capable of printing 2000 black-and-white copies, or 1000 color copies. The printer also offers NO-NOISTM technology (Non-Orbiting Noiseless Optic Imaging System) for noise free operations. The CLX 2160 printer costs Rs. 29,990.
Amongst the latest launches are Samsung’s latest mono laser multi function printers, namely the SCX-6322 DN and the 6122 FN that include a built in QWERTY keyboard for scan to e-mail communication. The SCX-6122 FN is available at Rs. 39,990 while the SCX-6322 DN (with duplex printing capability) will cost Rs. 49,990.
“Based on our considerably enhanced product line up, expansion of our distribution tie ups and channel expansion, we expect to achieve a 20 percent market share in the Printer category this year” stated R. Zutshi, Dy. Managing Director, Samsung India.
Like the other Samsung printer collections, the newly launched eight printers also have a stylish look and trendy design.
With the launch of new models, Samsung has expanded its printer range to 9 multifunction printers, 7 colour lasers and 10 mono laser printers, with a price range from Rs.4990/- to Rs.1, 44,990/-.
