After the launch of notebook stands and notebook bags, Logitech has now introduced a notebook optical mouse called V220.
The Logitech V220 is a cordless ergonomically designed mouse having soft rubber grips that is built for at-home and on-the-road use. The mouse further incorporates 1,000 DPI optical sensor that gives better tracking than many other notebook mice.
The newly launched mouse V220 mouse sports a mini-receiver, which snaps onto the mouse for easy transport. A battery life of up to 6 months minimizes the need to frequently change batteries, while a battery indicator light helps eliminate unexpected power loss.
The Logitech V220 also includes horizontal scrolling and an RF wireless USB adapter, which stows underneath the mouse for traveling. Battery life of the mouse is estimated at 6 months. But the lifespan of the battery can be increased by using an automatic power-down feature. This feature saves energy during idle moments.
The Logitech V220 Cordless Notebook Mouse will be available in Europe and U.S from July 2007 and the price of $29.99 (around 1200 INR)
