The latest router from Buffalo is also the first wireless router that supports all Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g) as well as for the IEEE 802.11n draft specification. The two-in-one wireless device features an external switch that enables the device to work as a router or as an Access Point.

“It adds another feather in Buffalo’s cap to be the first manufacturer to offer a Windows Vista Certified wireless router. Our product full fills all the user requirements from a wireless product – reliability, security, and compatibility. Microsoft’s Premium certification and logo represent passing rigorous performance and compatibility tests; being the first to do so is a testament to our engineering practices and testament to product quality. Similarly, we are also excited that CEA recognized this device as one of the best designed and engineered products on the market. These two achievements validate Buffalo’s position of delivering best-of-breed solutions that play an integral role in the digital home,” stated Morikazu Sano, senior vice president of global sales and marketing at Buffalo Inc.

The Windows Vista certified router delivers reliability, security, and compatibility by surpassing all other devices as well as “Works With Windows Vista” logo tier. It also supports simultaneous dual-band operation that delivers optimal video streaming experiences to Xbox 360 and other digital video receivers at home.

The Buffalo AirStation Wireless-N Nfiniti Dual Band Router & AP has the ability to reach data rates of nearly 300Mbps and a four port 10/100/1000 gigabit Ethernet switch, allowing the device to improve the stability for wireless streaming of applications that demand additional bandwidth such as VoIP and High-Definition video.

The dual band support helps the new Nfiniti router to minimize interference with other wireless devices, providing an enhanced wireless range.

The Buffalo AirStation Wireless-N Nfiniti Dual Band Router & AP (WZR-AG300NH) will be available in early October this year for Rs. 19,408 along with a limited two-year warranty.
