Micronet, a manufacturer of networking products, has announced the availability of its new 11N Wireless networking product series for maximizing range and speed. The new line-up includes the SP916N WLAN Broadband Router, SP906N Wireless LAN PCI Card and SP907N Wireless LAN USB Adapter.
The SP916N WLAN Broadband Router offers compatibility with IEEE 802.11b/g/Draft-N wireless LAN. The new router provides a high Internet access up to 300Mbps and shares only a single cable of xDSL Internet Connection with Four wired LAN ports (10/100M) plus one WAN Port (10/100M). Further it supports CHP for an easy IP-address setup with advanced network. And possesses security features such as Special Application, DMZ, Virtual Servers, Access Control, and Firewall.
Moreover, the SP916N WLAN router allows users to monitor the router status like DHCP Client Log, System Log, Security Log and Device/Connection Status.
Micronet claims that the SP906N Wireless LAN PCI Card offers wireless solution of high speed and cost-efficient network. This LAN card is compatible with IEEE 802.11b/g/draft-n standard thus wireless transmission of up to 300Mbps and wireless security with 64/128-bit WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK encoding can be achieved.
The SP906N Wireless LAN PCI Card supports Windows 2000/XP/XP64/ Vista and also allows monitoring Wireless LAN by Windows-based utility. Besides, its QoS function helps to control the bandwidth required for different applications. A 32-bit PCI interface, Detachable antenna, 2T3R MIMO Technology Radio Modulation and a frequency band of 2.4000 ~ 2.4835GHz are some of the other features of the SP906N Wireless LAN PCI Card.
Micronet’s SP907N Wireless LAN USB Adapter is also compatible with IEEE 802.11b/g/Draft-N with high efficiency antenna that expands the scope of the wireless network. The device provides a simple way to add or upgrade wireless connectivity in notebook. It supports major encryption methods like WEP, WPA, and WPA2 encryption with USB 2.0 interface for easy installation. The SP907N also has wireless access control for preventing unauthorized network. The Smart Antenna enhances signal coverage, while MIMO technology improves signal up to 4 times farther than standard Wireless-G via reflection.
