Logitech has unveiled the Harmony universal remotes and sound music streaming systems namely Squeezebox and Logitech Wireless DJ, in the Indian market.
Logitech Squeezebox is an easy-to-use music player that is capable of transmitting music from the PC to the stereo via Wi-Fi or cables. Its screen displays track listings and allows browsing by genre, artist, playlist and more. The Squeezebox is priced at INR 19995.
The Wireless DJ from Logitech has a capability of streaming music from PC to stereo. It features a large clear LCD screen and an intuitive scroll-wheel interface. The Wireless DJ is available at the price of Rs. 15995.
“Logitech is well-known for its innovation, design and for making the most convenient devices to interface with any digital product,” said Moninder Jain, Director, India and South East Asia, Logitech.
Apart from these music systems, Logitech also introduced Harmony 1000 universal remote in India. The Harmony 1000 uses an online database system to download codes of more than 175,000 produced by over 5,000 manufacturers by matching a component’s model number to the characteristics, discrete codes and infrared commands stored on Harmony’s Internet site. These programs are automatically programmed into the remote via USB connection. The remote is priced at Rs. 17,995.
In addition, the Logitech Harmony 885 and Harmony 525 universal remotes were also launched in the country. However, details about them are unknown.
