Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 has a 6-inch display, costs Rs 9199

The Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 is soon to get officially launched in India and while the company is busy teasing the handset on social media, a couple of retailers have already disclosed price and availability details. The phone’s MPR is Rs 9999 according to a local retailer, but a seller on eBay is offering it at a price of Rs 9199.

All models in the series have large screens and the Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 is no exception. The handset features a 6-inch IPS panel, but there’s a small dispute about the resolution. The local retailer revealed that the screen has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, while the eBay seller has listed it as a qHD 960 x 540 pixel panel.

Considering the retail tag, an HD display would be an appropriate choice or it wouldn’t make sense shelling out so much cash for a low-res screen. Additionally, smartphones from this series normally come with a stylus pen onboard, hence the name. However, the Doodle 4 handset doesn’t look to have one bundled and there’s no mention of the accessory in the listing as well.
