The Spice Stellar 518 smartphone has been on the market for over 6 months now and the company has reintroduced the handset in India with a reduced price tag. From Rs 7799, the smartphone’s retail amount has been dropped down by Rs 2800, to Rs 4999.
The Spice Stellar 518 smartphone is basically identical to the phone which was launched last year. The main attraction here is obviously the 4000mAh battery and there are no estimates as to how much activity can be derived through the power pack. An entire day’s worth of heavy usage is what we’d expect, but the final outcome depends on software optimizations.
In this case, Spice has implemented Android 4.4 KitKat. The phone has quite a lot of competition to face, but it does have the upper hand owing to the new retail tag. The remaining features are more or less what you’d expect from an entry-level phone. The display is a 5-inch IPS LCD panel with FWVGA resolution.

And delivering the steam from the inside is a 1.3GHz quad core chipset of unknown make. Coming to memory, an entire gigabyte of RAM has been employed along with 8GB of expandable storage. The Stellar 518 also offers dual cameras where the front has a 1.3MP shooter and the rear an 8MP sensor with LED flash.
