OnePlus One launched in India for Rs 21999, available on invite only

After months of patiently waiting, potential customers can now get their hands on the OnePlus One smartphone officially as the device has been launched in the country. However, it won’t be an easy task as reserving a unit means that you’ll need to secure an invite which is available only through contests and other events hosted by the company.

The OnePlus One is exclusive to Amazon India and it’s currently being made available with 64GB of onboard storage and in sandstone black for Rs 21999. The phone also comes with CyanogenMod 11S out of the box, but the company will be issuing its own OS based on Lollipop next month to replace the custom Android fork since it won’t be officially supported in the country.
