Spice Stellar Pinnacle Mi-530 price marked at Rs. 13,999, phablet now available

Mi-530

In a surprise visit of sorts, the Spice Mi-530 has managed to sneak onto a retailer’s listings with its price tagged at Rs. 13,999. A 5.3-inch touchscreen can be seen highlighting its attributes, and this phablet can only be spotted on Saholic’s website at the moment. Others are expected to start doling out the handset soon. Part of the reason for this early exclusivity can be attributed to the fact that Saholic itself is owned by the Spice Group Company. We’re not quite sure why the manufacturer hasn’t officially unveiled it yet.

The Stellar Pinnacle Mi-530 is one of the latest devices to have come out of the company’s line of smartphones without much of a launch hoopla. It is now selling with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, but a delivery time of 4 days is being predicted by the E-retailer for it. Deals such as ‘Cash on Delivery’ and ‘We Pay if we Delay’ have also been slapped onto it. Other online shopping websites such as Flipkart, Infibeam, Indiatimes Shopping and HomeShop 18 still haven’t started stocking this new bit of hardware.

The smartphone in question is a dual SIM one, providing support for 3G on both its slots. It comes equipped with Google’s Ice Cream Sandwich OS, and adopts the candy-bar form factor for its exterior. A big 5.3-inch TFT LCD screen has made its way onto the device, offering a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels along with 16 million colors. Handling its operations is a 1.2GHz dual core processor which is provided assistance by 1GB worth of RAM.

While its built-in memory has been marked at 16GB, it can be expanded till up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card slot. This handset also carries a 2550mAh Li-Po battery which is able to dish out juice for just more than 4 hours of talk time and 29 days of standby time, over 2G. An 8MP camera has also been granted to it for imaging purposes, while a 5MP snapper is said to have been placed on its front. This latter feature seems a bit far-fetched of course, so we’re trying to get more details about it.

Those wishing to buy the Spice Mi-530 can do so now by heading over to Saholic.com.
