Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 full HD smartphone carries a price tag of Rs 19,990

The Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 which was being teased by Hugh Jackman has finally gone official and is slated to be made available in the country starting today. This is the first full HD smartphone to be released from the Micromax’s stables and will be have to face competition from gadgets like the Intex Aqua i7 and Spice Pinnacle FHD amongst a number of others.

The phablet sports a 5-inch CGS IPS multi-touch display of 1920 x 1080p resolution on its front panel along with a 5MP camera that lets users make face-to-face conference calls over the internet. On the rear side, you will find a 13MP snapper that has been loaded with features like LED flash, auto focus, digital zoom, video recording capability, panorama and many more.

Apart from offering an intuitive user interface, the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.1 tags along various Google mobile services and ensures access to the Play store. A MediaTek MT6589T quad core processor ticking at 1.5GHz has been assigned the responsibility of maintaining smooth multitasking at all times and it seeks assistance from 2GB of system memory.

Equipped with all the essential sensors, the Micromax handset provides 16GB of onboard memory and employs a 2000mAh battery. It claims to cough up the juice for talk time of about 7 hours at a stretch. The other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G network support.

The Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 has been priced at Rs 19,900 and it can now be purchased through online shopping portals and leading retailers in India.
