Nokia has released the Lumia 520 in India two days prior to handset’s expected date of arrival, but the device has stuck to the earlier mentioned price in the country. The company has put it up for sale at Rs. 10,499, similar to the tag rendered to the smartphone by various online shopping outlets.
While Flipkart, Snapdeal and Saholic will be offering the budget-friendly Windows Phone 8-driven gadget in red, black, white, yellow and cyan, Infibeam will not be stocking the variant drenched in cyan. Flipkart states that it will have possession of the smartphone only in the second week of this month.
Snapdeal and Saholic on the other hand, have already stapled it with an available tag. The former is even presenting a complimentary 8GB memory card along with the entire package. And as mentioned in our previous article, the device will be up for grabs through Infibeam two days from now.
As far as official availability is concerned, users will find all the aforementioned shades of the device at the manufacturer’s e-store except black. Those who intend to purchase this variant solely through the company’s website, can still go ahead and place an order anyway so as to be amongst few of the early ones to receive it when it arrives. Interested customers can moreover reap the perks of paying for the handset on a three or six month EMI basis.
The OEM has joined forces with Reliance to proffer the Nokia Lumia 520 combined with the carrier’s data plans. Existing customers as well as new ones will now be able to consume up to 1GB of 3G data every month for 2 months and this offer will also expose them to unlimited Facebook and WhatsApp for the same span.
