Karbonn Titanium X makes its much-awaited debut in India, costs Rs 18,490

Ever since the Karbonn Titanium X popped up on the official website, we have been looking forward to its launch in India and finally the day has arrived. The smartphone has been unveiled officially with a price tag that reads Rs 18,490 attached to it.

We already had a fair idea regarding what the dual SIM device has in store for us, but let’s have a quick recap of its specifications. The very first thing that will catch your eye in the device is its touchscreen, a 5-inch IPS OGS capacitive display that manages to squirt visuals in a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. All the essential sensors will be present on the front surface as well.

Just like the Micromax Canvas Turbo and a number of other mid-range devices, the Karbonn smartphone shows off a 5MP webcam. This should be capable of capturing good-quality selfies and of course, it will support video conferencing over the internet. Another 13MP snapper graces the rear side with dual LED flash and auto focus amongst other things.

What makes the Titanium X tick is a quad core processor sprinting at 1.5GHz as well as the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 platform. On the memory front, you can expect an entire gigabyte of RAM and 16GB onboard storage that is expandable by up to 32GB. OTG cable has been tossed into the package for attaching a USB drive directly to the phone. Also, its 2300mAh battery coughs up the juice for talk time of about 6 hours between charges.

The Karbonn Titanium X, as we said, will be available for under Rs 18,500.
