After a long wait, the Virgin Mobile HTC One V has quietly set foot in the US. HTC fans throughout the country longing to join the Android club can now pick it up at a very attractive price.

Based on Android 4.0 OS and with HTC Sense 4, the device derives multitasking properties from a 1GHz Qualcomm S3 Snapdragon processor. It houses 512MB RAM coupled with 4GB onboard storage that can be expanded to a total of 36GB via a 32GB microSD card. Its Beats Audio technology spices up the music hours. Additionally, the gadget draws power from a 1500mAh battery that renders roughly 7.2 hours of talk time and 10.5 days of standby time.

Pointing out the camera specs, the integrated 5MP rear-facing shutter comes with HTC ImageSense and touts features like auto focus, smart LED flash and a BSI sensor that enables users to click stills and record clips even in low lighting conditions. Fitted with a F2.0 aperture and a 28mm lens, it records in a 720p HD format. Apart from a dedicated imaging chip, the device also tags along sensors like the proximity sensor, ambient sensor and G-sensor.
