The Samsung Galaxy S Advance price and availability details have been released, suggesting that the device will start selling in the UK a little over a couple of days before the company takes the wraps off the latest Galaxy device. The smartphone takes a leaf out of the Galaxy S II book and is said to sport a form factor similar to the latter.

The Galaxy device employs a dual core CPU under the hood, that offers a speed of 1GHz to carry out smooth multitasking, faster image processing and better screen transitions amongst others. The HSPA 14.4Mbps connectivity should ensure instant web access and quick downloads. It gorges on the Android Gingerbread platform, which teams up with the TouchWiz UI for intuitive navigation across applications. The handset features a 4-inch Super AMOLED multi-touch display, a 5MP primary camera and a front-facing 1.3MP imager.

“We’ve been pleased with the response we’ve had from customers, partners and media since announcing the Galaxy S Advance in January. As with many of our smartphones before it, the Galaxy S Advance features a screen which uses our Super AMOLED technology so anyone that buys one will experience unparalleled color and vivid clarity when viewing any content on the device,” quoted Simon Stanford, Vice President, UK & IRE Telecommunications & Networks Division, Samsung UK and Ireland.

The Samsung Galaxy S Advance price and availability details divulge that it will be up for grabs for around £329.99 (approx. Rs. 28,000) starting April 30 through Phones 4u, Vodafone and other retailers in the UK.
