Unveiled last month, the HTC Desire C has now officially hit stores across India after its last tour to the UK. The device flaunts in-built Beats Audio technology that lays claim to fostering a rich music experience, by delivering it ‘precisely the way the artist intended.’

The smartphone runs on the HTC Sense 4 customized Android 4.0 platform and it houses a 600MHz processor coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB onboard storage. Moreover, the device supports memory expandability via microSD cards and offers 25GB free Dropbox space for hoarding content. It sports an 8.9cm capacitive touchscreen with 320 x 480 resolution, together with a 5MP rear-facing snapper.

The company has wrapped the device with a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor and a G-sensor. It provides Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS connectivity. The handset offers a 3.5mm audio jack coupled with Beats Audio technology to spice up music hours. Google Play provides easy access to a host of games, music, movies and applications. Additionally, the smartphone is powered by a 1230mAh battery.

The HTC Desire C India launch price is marked at Rs. 14,999. It can be picked up drenched in red, black and white.
