Asus Zenbook Prime

The Asus UX31A Zenbook Prime will soon be entering the company’s UX Series in a light aluminum alloy shell with a ‘spun’ coating on each of the polished surfaces. However, the company hasn’t yet disclosed the price and release date details.

The UX31A Zenbook functions on the Windows 7 platform, while it houses DDR3 1600MHz 4GB RAM. The Ultrabook’s Z-height is 3mm at the front and 9mm at the rear end. The device draws steam from a 1.9GHz Intel Core i7 mobile processor and tags along a SATA 6GB/s solid state drive. Alternatively, it can also be picked up with an Intel Core i5-3317U processor that ticks at 1.7GHz.

The 13.3” IPS display on the laptop features a 16:9 aspect ratio clubbed with 1920 x 1080 resolution. The snapper is equipped with an HD CMOS module. The notebook supports a couple of USB 3.0 ports in addition to microHDMI and miniVGA ports bundled in with a combo audio jack and an SD card reader amongst others. Furthermore, it offers Bluetooth 4.0 services. The company has loaded it with the Bang & Olufsen ICEpower audio SonicMaster technology in order to spice up music hours.

The integrated Instant On feature should ensure that the device resumes within seconds. Juiced up by a 50-Watt battery, the gadget is capable of delivering roughly 7 hours of usage time. Additionally, it packs a 268 illuminated chiclet keyboard with backlit capabilities and a revised touchpad, along with an integrated digital microphone.

The Asus UX31A Zenbook Prime price and release date, as mentioned above, are yet under wraps.
