Sony Xperia T coming out in Canada this November

Sony Xperia T

The Sony Xperia T release date in Canada has been scheduled for this November through a number of network providers including Bell, Mobilicity, MTS, Videotron and Rogers. But the company hasn’t yet shed light on the exact shipping details. The smartphone will hit stores in two variants, namely an LTE and an HSPA+ version, dipped completely in black.

For those who are new to the specifications of this handset, here’s a quick run-through of its key features – Firstly, it touts a 4.6-inch HD Reality display much like the one seen on the Xperia ion. And there’s also the company’s Mobile Bravia Engine that contributes to the quality of visuals. Users have a 1.3MP 720p secondary camera for video conferencing while on the move in addition to a 13MP primary snapper for full HD video recording.

There is NFC for one-touch pairing and quick file transfers along with 4G LTE or HSPA+ for web browsing and downloading content. This smartphone offers a ride on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform and it can be further upgraded to the Jelly Bean OS after its release. In addition, it employs a 1.5GHz dual core processor to do all the heavy lifting. The phone made its debut in the UK back in September and is also available for purchase through Three and Clove.

The price in Canada for the Sony Xperia T has not been given a mention, but like we said earlier, its release date through Bell, Mobilicity, Videotron, Rogers and MTS has been confirmed to fall sometime during November.
