Although the next iteration of the Apple smartphone is still tightly under wraps, designers seem to be quite interested in its appearance as can be spied in this stylish iPhone 5 concept. Taking into account the numerous rumors floating around about the handset, Italian designer Federico Ciccarese created this concept design of how it would appear according to his vision.

Fully dressed in a snow white hue, the fifth version of the iPhone, as per the designer’s visualization, would feature a slightly curved back. Mashable reports that the overall appearance looks quite similar to the Magic Mouse which is also another sleek Apple product.

Going by these pictures, the back part of the rumored smartphone appears to have been crafted from blasted aluminum which has been used by Apple in its previous gadgets such as the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac. Despite the curviness of the rear, the retina touchscreen display is a flat one while the handset tapers off at the bottom and top.

The rounded behind of the Apple smartphone looks a wee bit more comfortable to hold in the palm rather than the standard flat back. As far as the fifth edition of the popular Apple device goes, the tech terrain is still waiting for an official announcement to come its way. The buzz surrounding the iPhone 5 were the strongest in August and September last year right before the launch of the iPhone 4 S.

The iPhone 5 concept is just a mockup design of how the real thing might just look like, if and when it really does make its presence felt in the current scenario.
