A while ago, the HTC One S was up for grabs in India via online retailers like Infibeam and Saholic, although not officially. After a long wait, the company has finally ‘officially’ released the phone in the country.

Wrapped with gradient metal and cast in a unibody design, the smartphone houses a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. It functions on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform paired with HTC Sense 4. The device sports a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED multi-touch display along with a VGA camera for video conferencing.

The integrated ImageSense technology within the 8MP AF rear-facing snapper is said to help capture images swiftly, rendering good picture quality. Additionally, users can also seize still shots while recording or take advantage of the low light ability when filming in the dark. Feature like Music Hub, HTC Media Manager, HTC Car StereoClip and HTCwireless Media Link HD are also thrown into the mix. For hoarding content, the handset delivers 25GB free Dropbox space.

The HTC One S price in India is marked at Rs. 33,590.
