ZTE PF200 and N910 LTE handsets to be launched at MWC 2012

Gadget enthusiasts waiting to experience the Ice Cream Sandwich OS may welcome the launch of the ZTE PF200 and N910 LTE handsets, which is scheduled to happen at the MWC 2012. Moreover, the pair is expected to operate on 1.2GHz and 1.5GHz chipsets and offers 4G LTE network speeds.

The first smartphone among the duo namely the PF200, equips a 4.3-inch QHD capacitive touchscreen along with GSM, LTE and UMTS capabilities. It also entails an 8MP camera located at the back panel as well as a 1080p front-facing snapper for video conferencing.

“These LTE devices are the fore-runners of a wide range of LTE devices ZTE will bring to the market in the coming months, and as more and more LTE networks come on stream. They will be feature products – among a very wide range of devices on display at the ZTE stand at Mobile World Congress 2012,” commented He Shiyou, Executive Vice President and Head of the Terminal Division of ZTE.

Notably, the Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, GPS and A-GPS facilities are readily offered by the device. Furthermore, the handset is slated to be DLNA-compatible and proffers mobile high-definition link for connecting to video or home audio devices, along with NFC capability.

The second handset to be launched shortly is the N910. This gadget is deemed to function across the EVDO, CDMA and LTE FDD horizons. With a WVGA capacitive touchscreen, the display is touted to offer 800 x 480p resolutions. Photography enthusiasts have to settle for a 5MP autofocus camera with embedded flash if they wish to purchase this particular model. Similar to the aforementioned one, there is also a front facing snapper for video calling. Facilities like DLNA compatibility, GPOS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are supported by the gadget.

The PF200 and N910 release date and price details should be divulged at the MWC 2012, which is to be conducted in Spain next week.
