Samsung Galaxy Note 2 release coming soon, spotted in teaser video

Galaxy Note 2 Stylus

A new YouTube video has thrown hints on the likely Samsung Galaxy Note 2 release date, or unveiling at least. If we’re understanding the teaser correctly, then the highly anticipated smartphone may be right in front of our eyes by August 29. It seems that the Samsung Unpacked Event will be pulling the covers off this device that’s scheduled to take place on the said date in Berlin.

The Note 2 which has been playing hide and seek with fans for quite some time has been put through numerous speculations. Moreover, it’s not the first time that the Korean manufacturer has decided to clue in loyalists before an official launch. Remember the whole Galaxy S3 countdown zing?

Coming back to the handset-tablet hybrid, it should tag along a larger-sized display than it’s predecessor. A few weeks back, Phone Arena had pointed out that the upcoming phone may be equipped with a quad core chipset delivering 1.6GHz clock speeds.

The older variant’s SoC is clocked at 1.4GHz and that’s talking about a dual core processor here. What’s more, it appears unlikely that the integrated chip in the new Note could be a Cortex A15 as it may be reserved for future gadgets.

The device in question is likely to be accompanied by the renowned S Pen, with the video showing a stylus too. We can expect all the beefy components to be melded neatly into a compact profile. As for the software, Samsung really has no particular reason to skip Jelly Bean at launch.

Going by the video footage posted to YouTube, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 release seems to be on the horizon already. Now if only the company would throw the price details at us.
