Motorola Razr V XT889

The Motorola Razr V XT889 and Motosmart Mix XT553 will soon be joining the company’s smartphone line-up. The devices will be hitting store shelves by June 15, though we’re talking about its availability only in China.

The front face of the Razr V is decorated with a 4.3-inch display that is layered with Kevlar fiber and a splash-guard nano-coating. The Motorola device features the company’s Smart Actions software that senses the user’s scenario and alters settings to suit their requirements.

Take for example the fact that the handset can sense headphones being plugged into the jack and it will automatically start playing the music. Furthermore, the device also turns off the programs the user isn’t engaging with to save battery. The rear-facing 8MP snapper records in the HD format, while the front-facing 1.3MP camera can be used for video conferencing.

“Motorola Razr V XT889 is a sleek sidekick that delivers great value for money. It’s tough and smart, and has software tools that will make your life simpler from morning to night. Motosmart Mix XT553 is the perfect phone for young people; giving you all the features you want without having to switch numbers,” commented Frank Meng, Senior Vice President and President of Greater China, Motorola Mobility.
