For those willing to tie themselves to a two-year long agreement, the Verizon Motorola Droid Razr HD and Droid Razr Maxx HD price and release date details have arrived. As for the color options, the network provider will be offering the former drenched in shades of black and white, while the latter will be available just in black.
With regards to the Verizon Motorola Razr HD, users will have 16GB of hoarding capacity in addition to 1GB of RAM. The handset is crafted out of DuPont Kevlar fiber and it sports a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display that’s covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass coating and a splash-guard layer for protecting the touch panel against spills and scratches. Another important highlight is the 8MP primary camera which is fixed to the rear for image capture and video recording. Like we listed out in our last report, the smartphone packs in a 1.5GHz dual core processor and it has the Ice Cream Sandwich OS hosting the show.
Next in line we have the ICS-based Razr Maxx HD that’s capable of delivering up to 32 hours of usage on a whole. It flaunts a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD screen and it will be available with 32GB of internal memory. The Smartactions tool seen in most other Motorola devices comes pre-loaded on this handset along with a fresh Driver Mode. Features like an 8MP rear-facing snapper, 1GB of RAM, 1.5GHz dual core chipset and Voice Actions for Android are thrown into the mix as well. Both phones will support the carrier’s 4G LTE service for a quick web browsing experience.
The Verizon Motorola Droid Razr HD will be available at a price of $199.99 (approx. Rs. 10,565), while the Droid Razr Maxx HD will hit shores at $299.99 (approx. Rs. 15,850). As per their release date details, the handsets are scheduled for launch on October 18.
