The LG Escape AT&T price and release date information has arrived officially, just a day after the smartphone’s renders were leaked. Extending the carrier’s 4G LTE lineup, the handset is said to be perfect for prospective users seeking a budget option.

Riding on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform, the LG smartphone carries 4G of internal memory that can be extended with the assistance of a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity. Its front panel boasts of a 4.3-inch qHD IPS display that is claimed to deliver crisp visuals.

Running Android 4.0 and packing a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, a qHD true-color IPS screen and cool features like our new browser bar, customers looking for incredible value will quickly select the Escape,” remarked Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Devices, AT&T Mobility.

A dual core chipset with 1.2GHz clock speeds breathes life into the offering, while connectivity options such as NFC have been included as well. The rear is graced with a 5MP autofocus snapper for capturing stills and HD videos. A front-facing 1.3MP sensor and camcorder stay in place for video calls over the web.

An attribute dubbed Continuous Shoot allows capturing of multiple images and selecting the perfect shot among those. The Time Catch Shot feature gets rid of shutter lag and takes multiple images before the shutter button is closed to assure that every shot is appropriate. The device is expected to operate on the service provider’s 4G LTE network.

The LG Escape AT&T price and release date information is out. Interested buyers can lay their hands on the phone for $49.99 (Rs. 2,765) with a 2-year customer agreement on September 16 through the network provider’s official website and sales channels. It can be paired with AT&T’s shared data plans that were announced recently.
