Sprint LG Mach release date set for the holiday season

Sprint LG Mach

With its release date being scheduled for the holiday season, the feature-packed Sprint LG Mach smartphone could be on the top of the shopping lists for many prospective buyers. This handset brings a slide-out QWERTY keypad and a 4-inch IPS display as some of its main highlights.

The touch panel offers a WVGA resolution and stretches across the phone’s sleek contour that measures 0.48 inches in thickness and tips the scales at just about 6 ounces. The company boasts of the handset’s eco-friendly features that can be attributed to 56 percent of recycled materials that are implemented to craft the handset. Moreover, the device comes with ULE Platinum and Carbon Fund certifications that contribute to its green highlights.

Like the company’s flagship device, it runs on the Android 4.0 OS with no mention of a further upgrade to the Jelly Bean platform. The smartphone draws its multitasking capabilities from a 1.2GHz dual core processor and 1GB of RAM, while users have 50GB of free cloud storage for hoarding content. Both front and back panels are fitted with a 0.3MP and a 5MP camera, respectively. The latter allows full HD video recording and enables image capture.

Users should be able to upload shots and clips to social networking websites at a faster rate through the network provider’s 4G LTE service. Plus, there is Bluetooth 4.0 for hooking up devices and easy file transfers. The smartphone will also feature the QuickMemo tool that’s seen in most other LG devices. Last on the specifications sheet is a 1,700mAh battery that juices up all the above mentioned components.

The price for the Sprint LG Mach is still under wraps, while its launch date is slated to fall sometime during the holiday season.
